Topic: Emergency Management, CMS Code & Earthquake HVA 

James K DeHaven is System Disaster Response & Recovery Specialist, Environmental Health & Safety, INTEGRIS Health. After studying Mechanical Engineering and working as Sheet Metal Journeyman until 1990, later began studies in Healthcare with a focus on Emergency Medicine and Emergency Management. James has been in his current position since 2007 with a National Certification in Emergency Management, (International Association of Emergency Managers).  As an active National Response Team member he has served during the Super Bowl, OKC Memorial Bombing Marathon, Cotton Bowl, USGA Senior Golf Tournament, multiple incidents in the US, and for Western Division Team Health events. James is the current Chairman of Oklahoma Department of Homeland Security Region 6 & 8 Regional Medical Planning Group.

Topic: OSDH Proposed Rule Changes to Title 310

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) is proposing rule changes to Title 310 for certain health care facilities that will modify the plan review process, fees, codes and standards.  The proposed rule changes include:  Hospital Standards (667), Ambulatory Surgical Centers (615), Continuum of Care and Assisted Living (663), Nursing and Specialized Facilities (675), and Residential Care Homes (680).  The most significant changes impact Hospitals and Ambulatory Surgical Centers.  The discussion will include highlights of the proposed changes as well as the steps and timelines associated.

Troy is the Facility Services Director for Integris Health Edmond and is a Licensed Mechanical Contractor.  He served 5 years active duty and one year of reserves in the United States Navy.  Troy is currently an OAHE Board member, ASHE member, and NFPA member, and has worked in Healthcare for nearly 30 years.

David is the Systems Director of Facilities, Planning & Construction for INTEGRIS Health.  He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in structural engineering and later obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.  He is a member of ASHE, OAHE, and a founding member of the recently formed Oklahoma Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Community of Practice.  Having worked in healthcare for over 14 years, David finds great satisfaction in taking a healthcare project from concept to commissioning.
